Tuesday Display Chain~ See it, Do it

Dear friends, I am seemingly stretching across the board with this post.  No where does this spell primitive, but life always isn't.  And with three little girls with hair past their shoulders, what mother could resist?
Today's Tuesday display chain is "See it, Do it".  I love to have my hands lovingly in my girls hair. (Boy, that's a lot of love:) Every day before school they get it done.  Some days it's just a pony tail, other days it's more.  But, my girls will always remember having their hair looking nicely.
I have seen many mother's do their girls' hair (on line) and I have tried many of the styles myself.  I am so glad I took pictures of them.
Here are a few if my favorites.
So today, my girls are on display:)

Now you know that I don't just work with fabric, or paint, or wood, or glue, etc.  I love to work with hair as well.  I always have since I was a pre-teen.  God blessed me with three heads to do each morning.

I MISS THOSE DAYS, we did not have Pinterest or Youtube when my 2 daughters were little..but i remember a book/kit for little girl's hair by KLUTZ.. We read it like it was the bible of hair and enjoyed trying new do's every week.. ;0)
Thanks so much for the reminder of such sweet days

  10. Wowsers! What incredibly lucky little girls...and what a talented mom! Some of those braids are so intricate and detailed!! I tried braiding our Shih Tzu's hair once....wasn't the same - and I don't have the "gift." I don't think he was very impressed either. ;o) What a wonderful contribution to the chain!! 13. Wow Steph, great job! I agree with Christine: you're probably very patient. After reading this post I'm so glad I don't have to do this. Otherwise my morning routine would be so difficult :-).

  14. Oh my I would have loved to have my mom hire you to do my hair every morning. I had extremely long hair and it was always in my way and the most creative thing I did with it was a braid. Love these hair styles! You are one awesome mama! :)

  16. Such adorable hair styles, and models! I had two little girls hair to do each morning. I think back and wonder "how did I do all that I did?"!! It was always fun (to me) to do their hair everyday. I am sure they didn't always think so.It is fun now to watch them fix their own little girls hair. Thanks for sharing.

  18. I need you over here to style my hair, it's very thick and long! lol I absolutely adore all the various hairstyles you did on your girls, so perfect in every way. I am the only girl with 4 brothers so my mom had fun doing up my hair while I was growing up:-) xo

  19. Hi,
I love the way you do their hair! The little girl I care for won't keep anything in her hair for more than 3 minutes, sooo frustrating! I have been without a computer for a week and am glad to be back and catching up with my favorite blogs! I hope you enjoy your weekend!
    xoxo

  20. Steph, you are such an awesome Momma! I'm impressed with all of the different ways you've done their hair. How lucky they are to have such a creative and caring Mom. I always fixed my daughters until she got to big and did her own.
    hugs and blessings,

  22. Wow! My daughter would LOVE you, lol! She is always begging me to braid, french braid... I can barely make a pony tail look decent. It takes talent to do all of that and you have it girl! Those hairstyles are pretty amazing and those girls are pretty too~

  23. Oh I love all those styles. I had 3 sons, no daughters so I never have been able to have that JOY. However I am a Nanny and have been for about 13 years - 2 families 4 girls! The little ones I have now are 2 and 4. The 2 yr old has long blonde hair and sometimes, she allows me to "decorate" her hair besides just a regular pony tail.

I'll have to try some of these on her. Very cute!
