Spring Mantel

I can't tell you how happy I am that Spring has arrived.  

It has been so long since I have wanted to dive in and change things up.  So when the mood hit, I knew I had to act fast.  

I found my inspiration and I didn't deviate too much from there.  Accept, for some reason, my disply looks a little more shabby than I like.  I was lamenting all night though because Hubby and I were cleaning out the garage last Fall and threw away a cubby shelf that would have been perfect for this display. It really would have primmed it up well.  Argh, I never thought in a million years I would need it!  Never again will I throw things away.  

"Middle" already commendeerd my porcelain birds and they have been flying all over the house.

Frosty January

Not much snow to speak of here, but the frost has been unbelievable.  These photos don't do Jack justice.  For 2 weeks straight we had frost and inch thick all over the trees and bushes.  The clouds were low and everything was so beautiful.
