Fall 2015

Summer decor goes down and Fall decor goes up the week after school starts.  The first of October is when I add the Halloween touches in.  This is my entry way and I have loved priming this corner out each new season and holiday. The little ladder was a gift from my Sister-in-Law.   I made the shelf sitter witch a couple of years ago and named her Tula.  Every piece I own has a story and a memory and I love that my house has so much meaning to me.

 Happy Fall Y'All.

Historic Primitive House

Warning: PHP-Like I am not kidding.
Here are all the pictures I took of the house that I toured in Paris, Id.  The owner bought this place and restored it to the time period it was built in.  He is a major collector and every piece is authentic.  I kept snapping pictures with my phone like a kid in a candy store and I am sure he thought I was just crazy.  Someday, in another life, I want to have a home just like this.

Countryside baby shower

I have the most incredible sisters-in-law.  They are all so creative and thoughtful and make all our family get together's more enjoyable with their individual touches.  We had a beautiful baby shower for one of them tonight and despite the wind blowing things away, it was amazing.
I love vintage touches to things and some of the main decor pieces were borrowed from a local antique shoppe.

As always, I stole some alone time for a picture walk while visiting Bear Lake.  Normally I like to drive myself around, but today I just strolled around the block and took advantage of the things right near.

This has long been one of my most favorite homes in Paris.  The owners only live there for a few weeks during the summer, but the grounds are always kept and the house preserved.  I was lucky enough to get a tour of it this weekend and will show pictures of the inside in my next post.  It doesn't dissapoint!

Wishing you all a wonderful happy July day!
