We've Adopted a Fiesta~ And Some Bunnies Are Coming

Well......we did it.  Oh the girls are besides themselves with joy.  They have been begging for a pet since we moved here 5 years ago.  I know, that's a long time to be asking for a pet.  But for some reason, after all this time, it was a whim.  Not even planned.  We drove to the animal shelter and fell in love with Fiesta.  She is so nice.  It is obvious she had a very good and loving family before she was lost.  She is playful but snugly.
The first night she was here was Wednesday night.  She woke me up at 4 'o' clock in the morning and sat on my back.  Then laid her head on my pillow and slept there.  She also liked to sleep with the girls in their beds.  She had just had been spayed the day before so she was pretty sore.  We we trying to explain to my 6 year old that spayed meant she would have a small surgery to stop her from having any babies and she said "oh, is that what they do to Grandmas?"  HA...HA....
Now it is Friday and she is herself again.  She likes to hide under the couch pillows, be scratched on her cheeks, play with her feathers, and sit on the kids laps.  She is going to be so good for our family.

Some wonderful bunnies are coming in the mail to join us too.  Traci of York Mountain Primitives
recently had a Spring giveaway.  I was the third and lucky winner of this beautiful pillow tuck and prim bunnies.  Thanks so much Traci.

~Well, I hope you all have a lovely weekend.  My DH is going ice fishing and the girls and I are going to lunch and to the craft store to get things to make their class Valentines with.  It should be a good time. Until Then. ~

Fiesta is such a beautiful kitty!! Having a pet in the house changes everything. When our grandkitty comes here, life in this house revolves around him!! I'm very allergic--but I pop allergy pills because I just can't resist him!! hugs, Jan

Congrats to your family welcoming your newest member Fiesta. She has a beautiful coat. Just like a beautiful crazy quilt. The girls will have so much fun wih her. As a child I dresssed my kitty in doll clothes & pushed her in a doll baby buggy. She was pretty good about it but when she was done she jumped out & ran. Cute comment about gramdmas! All those bunnie items are wonderful. Blessings!
