A Hint Of Fall

Good Monday morning to everyone.  Was it ever hot this weekend.  I rescued a few of my Sunflowers from the heat and brought them inside for the family to enjoy.  We planted a ton along the edge of my garden along the fence a few years ago.  I have never had to plant them again.  In the fall and winter we leave them up for the birds and in the spring we take the stalks down and wait for the dropped seed to grow.  Somehow they spread all over my garden like a sea of Sunflowers.  We carefully transplant what we want along the fence again.  I love the multicolored ones.  A hint of Fall.  I hope you enjoy.

they are beautiful. the birds have gotten to ours and eaten them all. Looks like we'll have nothing to harvest for the feeders. Our sunflowers are always volunteers from year-to-year. They grow wherever they are dropped. I love the varieties sunflowers come in these days!
Big hugs,

Beautiful sunflowers - they almost look artificial they are so perfectly formed. I rely on my feathered friends to plan our sunflowers - they always seem just know where to put them; unfortunately, they must have forgotten their responsibilities this year, as we have none....Boo hoo....Love the multi-colors.....Have a great week! Your sunflowers are just beautiful! I have some along my stairs and they also double each year. They are just beautiful and look really nice when they are dipped in wax. They make a wonderful Fall Decor in the house :)

I must continue checking out your blog :)

Gorgeous!! I really want to plant sunflowers along my back fence line but it is mostly shade so I don't know how well they will do. Is your fence line shaded or sunny? I love the color variation of yours, just beautiful!
